Maybe treating spaceship development like software and pushing broken ass iterations through quickly to patching bugs as you go is a bad model? It seems like other corporations with a history of tech development are starting to catch SpaceX and I'm going to bet, just like in Tesla's case, will pass them in sophistication, quality, and reliability.
