Space X is projected to IPO at 1.5 trillion. Which would push Elon’s personal net worth to almost 1 Trillion or 3% of US GDP

It's all so insanely ludicrous. It's a vertically integrated (lol, literally) telecom company that can't compete on speed, cost, or service in urban areas but promises that in like 100 years it will be mining asteroids or some shit.

yep...it's all hype. during the recent (and disappointing) tesla earnings call, Elon just talked about how his Optimus robots will soon be everywhere

That's what it's been for years with him. Disappointing earnings call but he spends all of it talking about full self drive, or robo taxis, or "Tesla is an AI company".

And despite running what is obviously a floundering EV manufacturer, the market never punishes him. It's a fucking ponzi scheme at this point, but the power of friendship holds it together.
