the Wall Street firms holding part of that 13B in bank loans (the ones that actually carry interest payments) have been trying to quietly unload their share of twitter for 80 cents on the dollar and apparently can't find any takers. Finding anyone to take a pure equity position in twitter at a massively inflated price is going to be very difficult. It was probably a ~20B company with minimal debt, (barely) balanced books, and a growing list of happy ad buyers. With 13B in debt, a 3-6B annual cash burn, and the alleged flight of 85% of ad spend on the platform, it's a distressed property.

I think even that's generous. I figure it's a 8-10B company bleeding huge money and hampered by massive debt. Wait for the debt structuring in 18 months and get it for 5 a share instead imo.

Yeah, that's really his only hope. But with the US government targeting TikTok at the moment for being a defacto arm of the chinese government, Twitter being too deep in bed with the Saudi's & Russians could very easily lead to subpoena's and bans.
