Tech Thread

I mentioned before that Gemini was better with math and cap tables for some reason, but even that I've noticed that Chat has caught up and seems to be just as accurate now.

"go to sleep stop asking me questions."

No fucker, I'm the boss. You have one job, and it's to do what I ask. The red flag was that its name is Claude. Fucking French are the worst.

It’s become sloppy, letting obvious things slide and when I point it out it says

“Fair — that's a real critique” and then spends two more paragraphs paraphrasing what I just told it.

My fucking Claude may have Alzheimer’s now that I think of it

Off topic, I prefer Chat to Claude now. Unless I’m using CoWork

Funny you mention it, I ran into a bit of a bind when one the codes Claude wrote didn't work the way I was expecting (which is normal with code, everything takes multiple iterations to work the way you want as you spot weaknesses in the underlying logic of it, incorporate edge cases, etc) and I was usage capped for 5-6 hours before a reset so I gave chatgpt a run and I've been using both for the last few days and might prefer chatgpt as well right now. Not better at everything and not without it's own problems but I'm leaning 60/40 chat right now.

Eventually this shit is going to need to be regulated. There's no way you should be able to sell food with AI photos. Commercial food photography has traditionally stretched the boundaries of what should be allowed to begin with, this is something else entirely though.

I'm old enough to remember the 'why doesn't a big mac look like the picture' stuff

I mean, it could look like the one in the photo if you don't mind hair spray on your bun to make it shine, elmers glue instead of mayo because real mayo is horrifically unphotogenic, makeup sponges jammed into it to position toppings, and tooth picks jammed into it holding everything in place.

Would be difficult to eat it though.

Probably taste better that way

In Japan the fast food places actually make food that looks like the photos.

The problem with a Big Mac isn’t that the picture is too good, it’s that the actual product is man made slop
