I checked. OpenAI’s own status page currently says there are elevated errors across ChatGPT and Codex and that they’ve applied a mitigation and are monitoring recovery.

And it’s not just ChatGPT: Claude and Grok are also having outages today, with some reports suggesting a broader infrastructure problem may be involved.

But here's the funny part: you're literally talking to ChatGPT right now. So Zeke's statement needs an asterisk:

“ChatGPT is experiencing an outage” ≠ “ChatGPT is completely down for everyone.”

OpenAI explicitly says individual availability can vary by subscription tier, model and feature.

So I wouldn't diagnose Zeke with anything more serious than premature certainty. 😆

In all seriousness I asked Gemini something earlier relating to some code, and it sent me flight options to New Delhi in response.

I think they're all acting wonky today
