I was given an invite key to bluesky but i don't know what to do other than join the waitlist.

i'm not gonna bother until Bluesky is further along in the process, or until one of the competitors rises up to become a serious rival to Twitter.

I did sign up for Post, and it's cool but it's not really designed to be a Twitter replacement.

apparently they will give me some invite codes if i am there for an unspecificed amount of time.

okay how do I get on bluesky?

the app is available for android at least. not sure about anything else. You'll need a user to give you an invite code i'll let you guys know when i get mine.

I can't even get to a point where it asks for an invite code. Just gets my email to join the waitlist

I imagine there are going to be a million lawsuits from Musk to try to stop this.

Not that they’ll have merit (no idea) but he’ll file them anyway.

yeah the website is a dead end.

I had to download the app on my phone to sign up.

also this site remains slow on my personal lap top, in addition to on my work computer.

with the work computer, could always be the employer's security slowing it down, but my own computer has no excuse

I apparently will get 20 invite codes at some point. I will let you know.

Apparently I'm one of the 2nd wavers - there's been a few thousand users on it for a month or two, and that's bounced up to 50K over the last couple of days.

And apparently it was all peace and love at first but suddenly there are little wars breaking out. Pretty funny.
