The Big One: Blue Jackets vs Flyers - Tuesday April 15th 7pm EDT

Why don't teams lay down for us?
We never give them a reason to lay down for us. Last night, a 3rd goal to make it 3-nil might have broken Chicago's will to fight back. Instead, as soon as we got up 2 nothing we proceeded to play silly buggers for the rest of the game. We lost all the one on one puck battles, made stupid, high-risk plays, started trading chances with the Blackhawks (moronic when you have the Monty's Muffin Bakery between the pipes) and basically just got outplayed the entire rest of the game. Why would any other team lay down for this fragile, house of cards on a windy day team? We are ripe for the picking.

Yea, we should have clogged up the middle of the ice when it became 2-0 but everyone wanted to play hero and Monty . . . was crap.

Yeah, Flyers players cares about us not making the playoffs. Some of you . . . geez.
The Flyers don't care about us, but they also don't care about the Blue Jackets and they don't care about winning tonight either. They are playing because they are contractually obligated to play, but they won't be busting their humps trying to win it. They have tee times booked and ready to go.

Because they want to stick it to the crowd and probably rather Columbus get in instead with them or Montreal whole story there. Clearly Foligno wanted his team to make sure Columbus got in instead. Our team been flat and garbage for the last 6 games
You have a very narcissistic outlook

Players that have nothing to play for relish knocking a division rival out of the playoffs. Small satisfaction of shared misery.

Wehave ladies and gentleman, the swami arbiter of individual motivations, thoughts and desires.

You really need help, like no bullshit aside. You live in your own little bubble of insanity.

Everything will fall into place....

We passed on Michkov, so he could help the Flyers eliminate Columbus....i'm rolling with that (to make us forget we could've had both Michkov-Demidov right now)

Don't forget Tkachuk or Hughes and Cooley now. Habs could have built a monster.

Players love to be spoilers by beating teams that have something to play for. They don't roll over to screw over another team.

It makes sense that Washington, who was set and had nothing to play for would be easy for Columbus... But Philly... They're going to want to win.
