We are technically still alive. The Canes have to win out in regulation or OT, the Sens have to lose out in regulation.

It wasn't that I forgot that this game was happening, I just cared a whole heck of a lot less after the loss to Dallas.

Yes, Canes still have the sliver of a shot that andyt just outlined. That is their only path to the playoffs now...4 straight regulation or OT wins (no shootouts) and 4 clean losses by the Sens AND the Islanders don't get 6 points in their last 4 games AND Tampa doesn't get 4 points in their last 4 games with at least 2 Reg or OT wins. In other words, the Canes will be mathematically eliminated tonight as soon as Ottawa gets a point in their game against Detroit.
