The faces behind the words.....

I jumped Kawarau when I was there. And yeah, scariest thing I've probably ever done.

Did that too. It was also pretty scary. The thing with the Canyon Swing is that you are attached to a cable so I didn't know what to expect in terms of inpact, which was virtually nil.

NZ is pretty boss. You can't sue anyone there (from what I heard) so they have a ton of extreme type activities you can do. Like bungy jumping off the Auckland Harbor Bridge, or the sky walk / sky fall at the tower.

I've seen the thing they are doing at the CN Tower on TV. I'm surprised that Ontario got their big boy pants on for that one. I didn't think anything like that would ever happen.

Don't think I'd do that though. That's freaking high. I don't even like walking on the glass floor in the observation deck.

Yeah, NZ is a top destination for adrenaline-seekers. I wanted to jump the Nevis, but after doing Kawarau didn't have the cash. Next trip I guess.

The CN Tower thing is pretty tame I think, my grandmother did it. Just high up. So I guess if you don't like heights it's not great, but not sure how much adrenaline I'd get out of it. Does that make me an adrenaline snob?

the guys that ran the platform were really funny. One guy was saying how it was his last day, and how he was having a hard time concentrating...lots of funny banter.

Did you do the Shotover Jet boat?

Those two guys in the picture were being funny as well. It's part of their thing. And yes, I did the Shotover Jet boat just before I did the Canyon Swing.
