The Fucking Season Thread - Redemption Tour '22

Woll getting a start doesn’t really make any sense to me. The kid was mediocre in the NCAA, and has been Toskalol-bad in the AHL. Plus he’s barely played for the past two years.

Why not Hutch or even Kallgren instead?
 
still bugs me that we started Hutch in the first game of the back to back last time. I don't care the opponent really play the starter in game 1. Hutch ended up sucking in very winnable game 1 and then the whole team sucked in game 2 making Campbell irrelevant. And then we had to play a red-hot Carolina team and suddenly we were in a tailspin and Leafs Nation shat themselves.

They might just call up Hutch tommorrow.
 
It bugs me how great that PP pass from Ritchie looked last game. Says as much about our mediocre PP as about the pass of course.

That's legit the best PP chance we've had all year.

That's exactly why I thought Mitch would look so good in the bumper spot - that kind of no look pass to a wide open willy or auston should happen all the time with Mitch in the middle.
 
Mitch in the bumper spot lasted all of what, one PP? I'm not sure if that was by design or he just refuses to actually stay in position there because his natural instinct is to float around and have the puck on his stick more.

Their studs are 5 on 5 specialists. PP is not really where they excel. It is what it is. Run the PP around Nick Ritchie and call it a day.
