Gaps to fill? sure, every team does. Major changes outside of trying to find more stable goaltending? No

Right or wrong, if they lose there will be major changes, guaranteed. One of the core F, one of the core D, or the coach. At minimum. That would be 3 years in a row with the exact same result.
 
Keefe is not going anywhere. He just coached the team to the best season in history with dumpster fire goaltending for 3/4 of the season

The only way I see big changes is if the board steps in and does something short sighted and stupid. If there is a scapegoat it will be Willy unfortunately

Shanahan is probably more willing to do big changes
The board maybe more willing than Shanahan....
 
Well, no doubt they must be irate over the best regular season in franchise history fueled by a bunch of 25 year old studs and MVP and ROY candidates.

Raps made big moves including the coach of the year - not gonna say dubas or Keefe are safe…but….Because it’s Tampa Would say less likely vs a Boston type etc for the changes to come this off-season
 
I prefer to see this team shake the narrative than see it blown up or massively altered

matthews is probably once in a lifetime player. we won't get another one of those. if the franchise can't win with a guy like that in his absolute prime who can they win with?

I'd much rather they win and Nerd carries the day. Imagine how, to begin with, next year is going to suck if they lose this series. once again, no matter what, the Leafs will be called losers and chokers for the next 12 months with all the same 1st round jokes. I am very, very, very tired of this and would like it to go away.

the Leafs NEED to win tomorrow. the alternative really sucks.
