The Good The Bad & The Ugly - Round 1 Game 1 - Sens vs Habs

That two handed over the head chop wasn't hard?

Wow. Try just a little bit of objectivity.

Watch it again, he never went over his head.

I've seen worse several times.

Stone sold it really well...kudos to his acting skills

Stone's reaction was hilarious and then he gets right back into the game...Sens were flopping all over the ice.
Sweet win!

No mention of Stone fighting at the end of the game.

Cameron, what a tool. He just handicapped his team with his comments and threats. Rookie.

It did catch him in a very bad area.

I'm sure it was purely coincidence that Subban hit our top sniper on the wrist.

Yeah :rolleyes(2): He wanted you to have a 2 man advantage. Please.

The truth of the matter is that if EK had done that, that would have been a 2 minute PP. Stone's reaction was Riberio-esque, and if he was on the hated Habs, Don Cherry would be recovering from a stroke as we fûcking speak.

Stone stepped in after Mitchell slashed our captain.

I know Subban is a well known stick swinging pussy, but are all the Habs usually as bad as they were tonight?

It was intentional, but whatever it's the playoffs. Gryba took out our "best" sniper back then and it was a hockey play. So subban taking out your best is a hockey play

Eller never was and never will be your best sniper. He had 12 goals in 12-13.

Gryba took him out with a borderline hit that would have been applauded 10 years ago.

Subban's slash will always be a penalty.

Apples and Oranges.

Your inability to see the Sens part in this fiasco is what makes you lose credibility and the rational fans here won't bother discussing it. You're only going to draw out the fans you like to mock.

If this is by design, have at it.

Serious question.

What do you think the reaction here would be if Methot did that to Patches?

Ok I will play, if Karlsson did that to Patches and Patches came back to play shortly there after and Karlsson was kicked out of the game, how would you fel.

Ellen again shows up, DSP, Flynn, Mitchell, show up, there's not such thing as clutch or character.

"possession friendly" PAP nowhere to be seen...correct that I saw him, on his fcukin ass all game long, never engaging contact.

You're telling me this like I've been backing him up. I haven't been a fan of PAP at all this year.

And yeah, he should be sitting. And I'm not even sure you need MaxPac as a reason to sit him.

Apologies - yes it was BKerr heading up the PAP possession fan club.

No worries.

Anyway, I liked the 2nd & 3rd period. They play like that, they'll win more often than not. If they play like did the first, they'll lose. The first period looked like the classic Bawstun tactics. Try to hit, intimidate and don't actually bother playing hockey. Doesn't work very well.
