Game 6 might as well be Game 7. If the Habs win on Tuesday, it's game over. I don't see how they'd lose in Game 7.
But man, in the last minute, when our D had time & space to get the puck out and they kept making these stupid, soft, pussy-ass passes only to have Tampa keep it in, I was ready to break something. Jesus, it was stupid play after stupid play after more stupid plays.

I think it's come to the point that Bergevin has to keep him. I mean, if he wants ungodly amounts of money then you have to let him go, but Bergevin needs to do his absolute best to re-sign him.
And if you do re-sign him (and re-sign at a convenient $ figure) it automatically becomes Bergevin's best deal as GM. A 2nd & 4th for what could be an anchor on the second pairing for 5+ years?

PAP and Chucky have both had great games in the last two. Nice to see PAP finally get rewarded with the goal... next up its Chucky who was dangerous all night (76% possession with him on the ice too).

Hes been great these last two games... no luck, but he's been arguably the best player on the ice.
That might have been our best game of the playoffs so far. Very strong first and second, almost looked like we run out of gas in the third, but guys picked it up and a good bounce by PAP did them in. That forecheck is creating magic. Really hopeful for game 6, but worried our guys will let go the foot off the pedal and Tampa will sneak a few in.
Mr 2 goal on that team is yapping that they are better than us, more skilled etc and that if they play with structure, we can't beat them.

I'm also worried that the aggressive forechecking will have tired the boys...they looked tired in 3rd period....but it's not like we have much choice, we are down in the series and we need all the effort and forechecking we can get to win
Yeah absolutely. We can't sit back and rely on Carey to hold the fort while we counter-attack only when Tampa makes a mistake. We have to take the war to them. I just hope Therrien is smart enough to juggle his lines to keep the troops fresh.
