I wouldn’t put ROR and Bertuzzi in the same category. ROR is a center with elite hockey sense and is way more likely to live up to the contract.

ROR, Duchene, Wheeler, Max PAC. Orlov maybe. And bargain bin shopping.

Bertuzzi is 28 and a safe bet to outscore all those guys. Not very good defensively but plenty of toughness.

My fear with bertuzzi is that you can't play him with Tavares. That line would be q tire tire defensively. So you're pretty limited in that he's gotta he with Matthews. Don't think he's a guy that can drive a third line either. Lovely complementary player though. It could work but he's gonna have to be stapled to Auston so you'd have to hope that pairing works.
