top marks for a couple great draft picks, and having the benefit of picking 6th overall to grab Tkachuk, and signing Dougie to the free agent deal he did, that allowed him to pivot into Lindholm and Hanafin…

…and I’m sure some of you would even jump on the contracts above I listed, but they all also have the potential to be insane albatrosses for a team in our position. (Not to mention his James Neal like disaster signings)

its tough to judge Tkachuk for Huberdeau/Weegar because his hand was forced. In an ideal world Treliving doesn't actually want any of that to happen.

Well since Keefe the Leafs have the 3rd best record in hockey with the 2nd or 3rd best nerdies despite mediocre goaltending (which keefe can't control) so call it what you will.
