The early Pat Quinn era was really memorable for me. Valk, Berezin, Stumpy, Yushevich, Markov etc. Pretty fun.

Honestly there's been plenty of fun leafs teams in my lifetime.

The Clark led Doug carpenter leafs that led the league in scoring, the Gilmour led Burns gritallstars, the Quinn Sundin era. They were all fun.

The last 15yrs have been a real slog but hey now we got Matthews.

The dude demanded that they let him play anyway...even though there was a chance he'd die. He was such a beast.

And I'm not sure we've had, or will ever have, a more hilarious defense pairing than Markov and Yushevich. I remember one Leaf that was on those teams saying that those two almost constantly yelled at each other in Russian both on the ice and on the bench.
