Simmonds is so fucking bad. He's one of the all time worst I've seen out there. He literally can't do the simplest things - taking a pass has become some sort of special accomplishment now if he can pull it off.

I feel like your worst youve seen all time list spans a decade of names.

It's so nice that the Leafs finally have a legit good D - 3 guys here in the top-30 dmen (Rielly #6, Muzzin #27, Brodie #30) - slotted pretty much as what I thought they were coming into the year - i.e. a good #1 dman, and 2 good #2 / borderline #1dmen.

the bad news of course is there's another team that can match that...and beat that....with the Avs having an unreal combo of Makar #2, Toews #8, and Girard #15. IMO this trifecta is the real key to the team's success along with their top line.

I don’t think Muzz and Brodie can ever be called borderline #1 dmen. Brodie has no offense and Muzz is looking like he regressed pretty badly this year.
