So we're sitting Rasmus Sandin for the final week of the season. Kid's our top prospect, deserves to be one of our top-6 D in the playoffs, and between a pandemic and injury, he's barely played any games in the past calendar year.

We're also not getting Zach Hyman or Riley Nash into another regular season game as they're both returning from injury---and when Nash would be making his debut with a new team.

All for the sake of getting Fred into one more regular season game. When Campbell's played like a star, we've paid a 3rd round pick to rent Rittich, and when Hutch was mostly fine as our backup for most of the season.

I don't get it.
 
Couldn’t figure out my answer. Would you rather have Rielly or Hamilton for 6-7 years?

If we think Sandin is real - so we need to unload a guy within a year or so on the left side? If so, bag some goodies for Reilly with a year left if we can sign Hamilton? Not knowing the terms of either - I really like Sandin and want him to be top 4 at some pt next year and he’s blocked atm. Could play Brodie on the left with Hamilton if Sandin isn’t ready right away for top 4.

Tough to think of giving up a core piece. Sandin would really need to push him out of the way next year to make me consider it.

My preference is to sign Riels regardless of what anyone else does. Muzz will expire soon enough.
