Fucking love it. Did not think my attitude could or would be swayed even more positively after Tre's and Ruby's dismissals.

Apropos of nothing, anybody know if Johnny ever skated the game, even casually? He kinda sways like he might have. 😊

I just want moar offensive depth on this team. And Kane, if he’s willing to leave Detroit and/or come here seems to be a good opportunity to add it on a pretty risk-free one-year deal in a summer where we’ve got oodles of cap space.

I can live with him not being a perfect all-around player or contender for the XGF cup.

Also the fact the media is scrambling for leads to the point where Dregs and CJ (among others) are relying almost exclusively on "It feels like" and "My understanding" pieces... feeds into that. He plays it tight to the chest and is clamping down internal leaks. Good stuff.

i think it would be fun for everyone if we signed him.

but tbh I think the best way to improve our scoring depth is to get a 3C that can actually lead a 3rd line and produce at a 3rd line level while handling fairly tough competition.

that would both make it easier for our 3rd line wingers to produce, and free up the top two lines for more offensive usage.

but again, i think all of us would love a cheap patty kane here.

the only thing is we're not quite the prime destination for these cheapo vet types....yet at least.

a few good adds by Chayka tho, along with McKenna, and that could change quick.
