Like why in the world would you keep Carlo? For what? You don't need him since you have 6 other guys, and his contract is done at the end of the year anyway, so what are you gonna just ride this shitty guy into free agency and let him walk for nothing rather than get something now.

There is no way that makes any sense. I'm starting to get angry at these bullshitters and their fabrications. It kinda ruins things if you're just hearing nonsense that has no bearing in reality from these guys. There's no way I believe that Chayka isn't knee deep into trade discussions, trying to package him with Maccelli or Robertson for a center. I'd also be skeptical that he would hold onto Carlo through the draft. If you can't swing a player deal, then for sure you want to dump him for the best pick you can get, and this week is the last chance for that.

Very true. And I’m still resting fairly easy in the knowledge that none of these “insiders” have a clue, and that everything floating around about Bobrovsky, Rielly, Carlo, etc. is all just their own conjecture repackaged as reporting.
 
If we reported info based on just reality and logic and basic public information, we would wind up being way more accurate than these losers.
 
So fun. And while leafs internal processes or hiring of a coach/gm was kept under wraps, good luck keeping other agents and other gms from blabbering to the tmz gang at TSN and Sportsnet. It's our job to speculate whether they're being used as mouthpiece plants or if there's some truth to it.

The other bit is, these rumor guys get a bit clever with their words and toss their opinions into some radio hits disguised as actual rumors. They feel the need to fill air time even when they have nothing and that's where they really fall short. These are some of the dumbest minds in hockey and really should stay in their lane. Elliotte does it best, though sometimes he's guilty of it too.

Yeah, he's at least in his own class of credibility and how he uses language.

Its hard to tell who the worst of them is these days. CJ, LeBrun and Dreger are all equally terrible.
