I will say, leafs don't get enough powerplays for Raddysh to put up those point totals again. So I'm not expecting that. But if he can hang as a legit two way top pair d, well 8+ milly is market value for that. It would be nice if he gives them some excess value in the first half of the contract (i.e. if he's a legit 1 like he was for Tampa).

I was wondering to what degree he’s a power-play merchant when it comes to his scoring totals, and the answer is—not as much as I would’ve expected, actually.

Last year, 10 of his 22 goals and 26 of his 70 points came on the power play.

The year before, 9 of his 37 points came on the powerplay. The year before that, 7 of his 33 points were on the PP.

That’s still quite a bit of even-strength scoring from a defenseman. Certainly more than we’ve been used to in recent years.
