Alright Miami !!! 80 yard drive = another TD

Miami 14 , New England 3

Dolphins are dominating at the point of attack on both sides of the ball.. It's amazing what an early lead can do for confidence to a young team.

What a total asswhipping of the Patriots.. My boy Ronnie Brown with 4 TD's tying a record for TD's in a game for this glorious franchise.. First loss by the Pats in the regular season since 2006 when Miami beat em..What a joy it is to watch the Pats vaunted defensive front get blown off the ball by Miami's young O-line, and to watch the Pats get their asses totally kicked at home.

GO FISH !!

It was obvious from watching the way the Patriots offense ran with Cassel, that they wouldn't be able to keep up if another team started to put points on the board, and the question was whether he could win a game with the ball in his hand.

And now we know the answer, he can't do it.

Didn't think the Dolphins would be the team to test it, but hey, I won't complain.

Well do you see what some brilliant playcalling can do ?? Instead of stupidly running on first and 2nd down repeatedly in the first 2 games (when everyone and their mother knew it was coming), and setting up inevitable 3rd and long's, the Fish today passed FIRST to set up the wide open runs later.

And Miami FINALLY threw some deep pitch sweeps that were extremely successful in preseason (as I mentioned earlier in the thread).. It's about damn time. FINALLY some creative playcalling by the offense.

When defenses stack the box to start a game you pass and exploit that weakness on the D. Nice passes down the middle in the open spots and out wide to make the defense adjust.. THEN later run it down their throats !

I hope Dan Henning finally gets it ! The playcalling today was absolutely magnificent. The Patriots D was on their heels all game long and had no idea what was coming. They even motioned Pennington to WR on about 5 plays. Every single one of those plays worked for good positive yardage, first downs, or TD's..... Awesome.

What's best is Miami totally killed the Patriots on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Starks, Merling, Langford and Ferguson on the D-lin made the Pats O-line look bad.. And Miami's young O-line made those pro bowlers on their D-line look average at best.

I will just end with this.. Finally they put Ronnie Brown AND Ricky Williams in the backfield AT THE SAME TIME instead of just having one or the other back there... How are you going to stop TWO backs like that consistently ?

The Patriots were confused, and on their heels all day as a result of some creative formations, good playcalling, and tremendous execution by all 11 players on the field.. It all added up to making one of the best defenses in the NFL (and one of the very top defensive fronts in the league) look absolutely ridiculous.

With that said, I am now watching two games at once.. The Saints-Broncos and Eagles-Steelers ( the battle of Pennsylvania).. Both should be good ones.

The bills almost let one slip. Almost. 3-0

Look at it this way samooli... in years passed the Bills would lose games in the 4th quarter, this year they are winning them in the 4th. It means the team is better conditioned and better coached. 3-0 for the first time since 92.

Isn't the front page of NFL.com absolutely beautiful ?!?!!

Hey, let me live it up for ONE DAY !! We won for the 2nd time in the last 20 games. and the Pats lost for the first time in the regular season since 2006.. Oh, and I LOVE the option spread offense ! Belichick and the Pats never knew what hit em ! You shoulda seen Belichick's face on the sidelines. lol

STREAK BUSTERS !!

I can watch these highlights of the game over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.. And over again, just for good measure-

My beloved Miami Dolphins, the most winningest franchise in NFL history, goes into New England who hasn't lost at home in 2 years, and threatened our undefeated season last year, not to mention a hated division rival, and we kicked the snot out of the dirty rotten cheating Patriots up and down the field.. And boy, what timing, did we EVER need a win for this young Miami team to get some confidence.

Unbelieveable ! I'm poppin the champagne.. Saved a bottle of Dom and it's time to crack it open !!! Cheers everyone, I feel like a king today ! The Dolphins are Back baby!

Oh it feels so good to win again. And especially in this fashion, words can't describe !

:cheers2:

The Steelers offensive line looks like the worst offensive line I have ever seen.. How many sacks is that on Roethlisberger today ? about 10 ? And about 15 more QB pressures leading to mistakes.. And they can't run the ball worth a damn. Total domination by the Eagles defensive front I haven't seen since Baltimore's best days on D.

Steelers with a paltry 127 yards of total offense for the whole game.

Check.. And as soon as I say that Byron Leftwich is entering the game. I don't blame the, Roth was getting murdered out there.

Phew. Jags pull one out in Indy. They dominated time of possession and ran the ball down the Colts throat all game but couldn't finish drives. Lucky Scobee was good from 51 for the winner, after Manning marched down the field.

An absolutely atrocious showing by the Steelers O-line. Surprised Ben stayed in that long. Congrats LN, on the Phins complete spanking of the Patsies today. Looked good on them.

Chargers 17 Jets 14

early in the 2nd quarter now. Good game.

EDIT - Injury prone Kris Jenkins going to the locker room with a presumed injury as Chargers score another TD.. San Diego 24 , NYJ 14

Losing Jenkins killed us.......once he was gone any pass rush we had dissapeared.

If he's out for any length of time, we're done.

I mentioned here before that Johnny Depp is by far my favorite actor. You can throw 20 different roles at the guy, and he can act every one of them to perfection. He's absolutely brilliant.

Anyway, just found out he's a big fan of the Fish and has been for a long time. Photos taken last week at the game-
