I’m still pretty zen when it comes to just enjoying the regular season games and not stressing about the playoffs.

I’ve never been zen about Brad Treliving’s abilities as a GM though. And it certainly didn’t help that his opening trade deadline salvo was overpaying to reacquire Boosh with double-retention.

If we can get to the deadline with no more deals made, I’d be very happy. But I’m bracing myself for at least one more monumentally stupid trade that’ll materially harm this franchise’s ability to compete in the future while also making the current team worse.

I'm expecting something similar to what Dubie did last year.

He got ROR early and we all got excited. Then he fucking tripped over his dick, got rid of guys we needed, and added shit.

I think Tremonkey will get a bigger name type guy like Hanifin or Parayko, but then do something fucking stupid like trade Robertson for a pick so that Gregor can play regularly. I still don't think there's any real likelihood they trade any of the other kids away.
 
I'll never understand the fascination this city has with bottom of the roster hockey players. From bad teams, from good teams, whatever. If you're a fucking plug that can't carve out a real role on your team, but you do it while 6'2 with a beard, you're our fucking guy.

Now I know why Frenemy says the stupid shit he does. His pumping up of guys is always about shit that is unprovable or doesn't fucking matter, like the nonsense that these losers say.

He has a ring. Cool, so do 20+ other players on that team, and pretty sure he wasn't playoff MVP. He's big. Great, which means he's also slow and fucking stupid most likely. He can beat guys up. Who fucking cares?
