No loling over here. This is legit sad shit that Vegas and the Avs are cleaning up and becoming pure powerhouses while we're evaluating whether the addition of Babushkie put us over the top or if we should get anyone else.
 
The only excuse to not be all over that is if Hanifin had no interest in re signing in Toronto.

By the way, today is just the West loading up, which isn't super important to us since we'd only have to face one of them.

Brad could just lay out what he offered the flames for Tanev and Hanifin and tell the Flames fans they got screwed out of spite.
 
I just had Craig Button yell at me ( and anyone else making the mistake of watching TSN this morning) that Craig Conroy obviously got the best value he could, because why wouldnt he scour the league and take the best value? Thanks, Craig.
 
Edmundson might be the best option. He'd be basically league min after retention. Savard has another year at real money which is a disaster even if there's retention and Dumba is shit, would likely cost more, and makes real money as well.

I'm having a hard time picking a horse in this race but yeah I'll say Edmundson would be my top option there. Fuck that was hard to say.

I do wonder if there are other names out there, specifically on bad teams. You arent hearing anything really on the Hawks, Sharks or Jackets. Maybe they are too shit to even be moved.

Is that Petterrson guy on Pittsburgh any good? or available?
