yeah, but I'd say if McArthur wants to be a permanent NHLer, the first thing he should work on is not his offensive game ... but his defensive game. He plays well enough offensive for a 3rd liner, he's got size, he plays scrappy, but he needs to be more consistent and play a lot better defensively.

Pretty random, but Tyson Nash tweeted this so... is he breaking the signing or did I miss something today?

MacArthur can score in overtime, thats all I care about. Is having a team that can ice five guys that can bury the biscuit when we got to a tie.

This is a really good point.

You aren't going to 'out skill' teams like the Caps, Pens, Hawks. In order to beat them, you need to play them physical, you need hot goaltending and you need a few clutch goals.

Kessel's been very good in the playoffs in his short career. Kadri has been simply awesome in the playoffs in the OHL. We're going to need some clutch guys who can score big goals.

Lee Stempniak new 2 year deal with PHO breaks down like this. 2010-11- $1.5M. 2011-12 - $2.3M. Cap hit of 1.9M

Could be a good deal depending on which Stempniak they get.

If they get the Toronto version, he's a waste of 5 bucks.

I have no problem with Stemp at 1.9 mill as a free agent signing.

I had a problem when were were paying him 2.5 mill and we needed to give Colaiacovo and Steen to get him.

I have a problem that he was on pace for 40 points with us and a PPG player in PHX. With more ice time and more PP time. :(
