Vegas

Its for a wedding during the week so I figure I'll get there on a Tuesday and leave the following Sunday, so that'd give me a chance to do a Grand Canyon jaunt. Would like to do an LA day trip, but I don't care much for guided tours.

Likely going to Vegas in May, any suggestions for restaurant and day trips would be welcome.

Almost hard to **** up your choice of restaurant in Vegas to be honest.

As for a day trip...depends on what you're into and what your budget it. Go squeeze of a shit load of rounds at the gun store, go run laps in an exotic at las vegas motor speedway, spend a day on the Freemont Street Experience.

If you've never been before, and the weather is solid (in May it shouldn't be ridiculously hot yet), you can burn a few days just working your way through the strip. Tons of shit to do.

Honestly their is a ton to see and do in vegas alone that if you do too many day trips you may miss out on the stuff that's close (unless you have been before).

Old vegas was cool as was walking around the strip. Hit up the Brazilian place, the buffet at the Beliagio and some mexican place in our hotel and by far the Brazilian place was the best.

I was on a guys trip so getting day drunk at the pool was awesome but if your with family you may not be in for that type of environment.

I figure I'll be there 5 days, arrive on Tuesday, BP on Wed, Wedding on Thurs, Fri and Sat, spent at leisure...Grand Canyon most likely. Figure my budget is about $1200 after hotel/flight. Prices are high right now though, on Expedia only Luxor is under $1000.

i booked on bookit.com and got a suite at the hard rock (slightly off strip but a fun place for young people) for about $125 a night.

just looked on bookit.com and prices look decent

You need www.redtag.ca in your world.

I haven't been to Vegas but I've always wanted to go there. My Dad went there for the first time in 2004 and winded up ****ing one of the servers at Samstown Casino in the back room, long story short he ended up marrying her.
