I get it that it's convenient to just buy coffee but it's amazing to me how few people actually make coffee at home. I have a very hipster set up but you don't need anything fancy really. Some cheap grounds and a $20 device and it'll take 2 minutes to make a cup of coffee that's probably better than Tim Hortons.Why in the hell wouldn't that guy just make his own coffee at home?

A lower end ~50 dollar burr grinder and a functioning coffee maker. Grind whole bean, put it in to percolate. Superior coffee for 20 cents a cup. Even just the okay bulk bean coffee (Lavazza, Kirklands, etc, etc) is more than good enough for 95% of coffee drinkers.
