Leafs - Sens - Habs 2013-14

I always laugh when habs fans cry about their media bias.

Subban wins a norris for a half season of PP production.

Price is worshipped as elite despite rarely being that good.

Pleks was respected as a legit #1 C for years for some crazy reason.

The guy has the Norris - it is what it is.

But the least you could do is tell us why you think it is reasonable. I had to defend the Karlsson pick to some.
 
So I guess Price's selection by Hockey Canada to the O team is media and fan bias?

I already posted my thought. Full season = no Norris. It was a perfect storm for him.

Firstly, there are alot of questionable calls on that team...Price could be one of them.

Secondly, Canada isn't exactly deep in net at the moment. Gone are the years where Brodeur was a lock.

This is bullshit. All the Habs fans I know have always said Plekanec is the prototypical second line two-way center and that the Habs were lacking a true #1 center.

In Price's last 5 games he has a .966 sv %. I'd say he's warming up for Socchi.

He probably deserves to be there, based on the internal competition that he has in Canada, but im not sure he should be mentioned with the Rask, Miller, Lundqvist group as elite lock tenders for their nations

Price definitely deserves to be on Team Canada....but that's not the highest bar in the world.

Still, Price is actually legitamtely putting in a very good well above average season.....for the 2nd time in his career.
