OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

Depending on when and how many doses Canada can get it could be a real game changer when it comes to getting harder to reach populations and segments of society like the homeless.

was it posted here by anyone that the EU used their export control for the first time to block a shipment of 250,000 vaccines from AstraZeneca en route to Aus? apparently the Italians were like, 'fuck no you mufos, honour your contract with us before sending shit to the aussies'.

that is my summary of an entire news article.

I could very well be wrong but, my understanding that the shipment was blocked/delayed because of the three earthquakes and threat of a tsunami.

Fucking zeke

So question, my turn for a vaccine (Pfizer) and I can get the first dose whenever I like. Or I can wait. I can’t decide what to do, I’m able to do what I need from home so it’s not pressing for me but this would be the second time I passed.

Seems more readily available here than in Canada but yeah. I think it’s time.
oh I can guarantee you it is.

we now seem to be opening up for only the over-80 crowd to be able to schedule appointments. and I don't even know if we're through vaccinating our frontline workers.

GIMME THIS ONE

We'll be getting 10 million doses of this between now and September but doses will start arriving in April. Obviously that's enough for 10 million people so that's good news even though the broad timeline is kinda meh. Next is Novavax and that won't be approved till May. We'll see what we can dig up from the US once they're fully supplied by the end of May. If they help us get to the finish line (in terms of supply) by the end of June I'd be appreciative enough to visit that stupid country for my first post-Covid vacation.

More good news...

So after all of those fear mongering delays of like 100,000 doses here and there... We end up with more doses by the end of March than scheduled. Poor Conservatives.

I never doubted it -- JT had one job

Would have been surprised if he didn't get it done.
