Two words. Suzuki. Kotkaniemi

Until those two start delivering "la merchandise" (as they say in French), there's not much to worry about.

even if they do start delivering, I'm not sure it would cause me to worry that much more!

Yep. Julien, and the fact that he’d have the team playing a style that best made up for the shortcomings of the roster, was definitely a part of my thinking when I predicted they’d compete for second in the division.

Not surprised they’ve tanked under whatshisname.

Suzuki and Kotkaniemi are both nice young players (Suzuki moreso than Kotkaniemi), but I don’t really see real star/difference-maker potential there with either of them.

At best, I think Suzuki tops out as an average 1st line player, and Kotkaniemi as a good 2nd liner.

I guess the idea of an AM/JT matchup against Suzuki or KK fills me with joy and anticipation. And I don't expect that to change anytime soon.
