Around the League 2019-2024 Edition

I know that many will be asymptomatic and than none will require hospitalization - but it seems like a high number of positive cases for a 100% vaccinated group.

Am I missing something?

2 doses vs omicron is equivalent to 0 doses essentially for symptomatic infection. They will have protection from severe results tho. I worry more about the older coaching staff. Will surely be a rough go for them.

And it is important to note that a lot of the NHL have gotten boosted and since tested positive. High exposure to positive cases will likely always lead to infection with this one. 3 doses may give you 70-75% protection but if you're locked in a room with a positive teammate you're prolly catching it.
 
Going back a few pages in regards to calling this fake news. I saw someone that I know post on instagram...

Delta and Omicron = media control I didn't want to even check if it works as an anagram.. but that is the kind of stuff that's out there.
 
Good, this is relatively close to as good as we were likely to get. Chicago learned an expensive lesson about covering up crimes and allowing shitty hockey silence culture to rule the organization. It made enough noise publicly to empower others to come forward and spurred at least some conversation on how far hockey culture has to go. Kyle also very likely got paid a decent 7 figure number to go away, so while it will never replace what could have been a decent NHL career, it's not nothing either.

I very much question that Chicago learned anything, but im guessing the lawyers they hired screamed at them daily to pay to make this go away.

Now that the lawyers are leaving they are free to be dumb assholes without consequence.
