The one thing I've learned is that the term "endemic" means something different for everyone and everyone argues over semantics, including nerds. I'm sure Nate has a strong opinion on it tho, I agree.

It's around. But at much lower levels for now. Still possible that it emerges once Omicron loses its advantage but it looks good for now. Too early to conclude anything tho. Boosting helps crush it and an Omicron infection seems to act as a boost on Delta too so that's good.

But next variant could still easily be worse. We got lucky with Omicron in some ways, as ugly as it is out there.
