I never watched or liked Airwolf. I was a Knight Rider guy. And talk about theme songs - da best.

I've stumbled across some channels in the thousands that play tons of old random shows I haven't seen in eons - Silver Spoons, Benson, etc. One of them that they play is Hart to Hart - as a show, nothing to write home about (though it does pull the nostalgic strings for me), but I love that theme song and opening. Never gets old.

Which is fine. But that sequence was horrendous.

The 80s intros were literal works of art.

And the shows were dreadful.

The best intros tell all you need to know about the show. Fifties to about the '70's had some of the best intros. A good into doesn't always mean a great show but IMO some of best:

Gilligan's Island
Beverly Hillbillies
Fresh Prince of Bel Air,
Flintstones,
Cheers
The Brady Bunch
Flintstones

Blue Thunder with Roy Scheider is an awesome movie about a super Hellicopter. That started the craze in TV.
