He isnt worth the 5-6 mil required to offset the taxes in Quebec

This is the Risto BS contract all over again that Philly gave him to stay

Team can do better than that with a locked up Petry

They need to win now. Anderson should be in play. He's their type of player.

Sanheim is a very good PMD, a notch above Devon Toews IMO, and very capable PP QB - something Habs don’t have in their system and have been looking for since Markov

Toews is a 2 way beast , Sanheim like Provorov never hit their potential

Toews is the most underrated D in the league , he would be a 7 mil D if he was a UFA

He is your better skating Seebrook -McDonough in their prime stud

If Sanheim had term like Petry its a no brainer

Dont want a UFA overpay with a bunch of already albatross deals in place

First they blow their load on Jones and now are looking at a tear down

They need a gut job and DaBrincat is looking at big money and not the player you overpay for them

He's an RFA in a year and his salary this year $9M and therefore, the QO has to be around $9M.

Not sure Chicago's in that big of a rush to sign him when there's a good chance both Kane & Toews will be gone by the time his new deal kicks in.

If they can trade him for a good prospects and a 1st/2nd? Might be interesting.

That would make them a legit dance partner for the NJ and Philly picks, I suppose.
