Some people are too far gone. It is a cult and many have been "brainwashed" using similar techniques, all we can do as a society is try to bring them back one by one.

While I'm fine with these people being put away for years, it's not going to impress me all that much if this ends up being the only thing this committee accomplishes. Yes the Proud Boys and the Qanon Shamen are all deserving of prison time, but the guys wearing suits and ties who work at the White House, the people who sent these brainless idiots to the Capitol, if they don't go to jail it's all been for nothing and it won't prevent The Coup Part 2: Election Boogaloo from happening.
