but you're fine with shitting on the coach, when we see the eliteness clearly correlating with his hiring, and no change whatsoever with the hiring of Dubas.
 
Keefe was awesome at first. Did some creative "new" things with their offense, particularly getting a forward up high in the offensive zone and creating mismatches all over the ice. My issue with him is what he became later in his tenure here. I hope he gets back to his roots because he was legit awesome early on. But teams did adjust and maybe he just didn't have an answer for it.

But absolutely, as soon as he came, this team was elite. He made the bigger difference in the organization, no doubt.

we were dead last under Babcock, and he never had a single season here with a xGF% as good as Dubas & Keefe’s reign.

its goofy shitting on Dubas or Keefe imo…..given the utter dogshit this franchise has been for as long as we have, and the obscene success we had under both of them.

if we get better without either/both of them, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
 
Keefe is clearly an excellent coach. The criticism is how he kinda over coaches in the playoffs.

But its tough to attribute how much of the failure blame belongs with that, and how much to Dubas' flawed roster construction.

I mean they've lost a ton of low event, one goal games, and that is the game Dubas built this team to play. I don't think Keefe gets off completely though.

Judging their record against the track record of modern leaf futility, and not their current competitive contemporaries, is some navel gazing, leafy bullshit.
