lol, Richmond Hill is filled with unappealing strip malls occupied by corporate chains and this guy is complaining about the eyesore that is independent businesses. this is just bonkers to me. what distinguishes dispensaries from other storefronts and makes them an eyesore? you'd really rather look at the golden arches or wendy thomas or whatever the fuck the wendy's girl is named?

yeah we're government weed only here but whenever I'm in Ontario for work I definitely do not find the pot shops to be the most offensive looking storefronts.

but presto prefers his arches...

You won't much longer. This is eerily similar to the early 80's when there was a Mom and Pop video rental store on every corner. Eventually Rogers and Blockbuster put them all out of business. That's what's going to happen to all these little pot shops and, I might add, to all the independent commercial pot growers. Big tobacco will eventually control production and big retailers like Loblaws will control the delivery side.

Correct. Legalize all the drugs but the crack dens will continue to look shitty from the outside particularly when they make up entire plazas. Asian massage parlors and weed shops go hand in hand in terms of looks.

Yeah, it's admittedly been awhile since I was in RH but I don't recall that it was anything special. Just a typical suburban hellscape like all the others. Completely and utterly generic.

We have private pot shops in Alberta and nearly all of them look ghetto. But so do all the strip mall stores out here.
