Correct. Legalize all the drugs but the crack dens will continue to look shitty from the outside particularly when they make up entire plazas. Asian massage parlors and weed shops go hand in hand in terms of looks.

my experience has been that most inner-city dispensaries look more like HL's than Aberdeen's.

That's when it gets dicey for me. Entire strips of weed shops. It's a bit much even if they look nicer than the city ones.

I feel like you haven't been exposed to what many of these look like...

ehhhh I'm obviously not familiar with every dispensary in the city but I've visited and patronized enough now to have a decent sample to pull from.

and this includes the 'dispensary' that was in a literal trailer in a trailer park. one of, if not the best one I've been to, period.

and none of them have had much in the way of sketchy folk anywhere nearby. now that I think about it, the one I went to in Nevada is prolly the 'sketchiest', but I think that was more a Vegas/America thing and less a dispensary thing.

I think it looks bad when there are 15 in the same plaza along with a bunch of rub and tugs and crack pipe stores, yeah. I'm not gonna change my mind on that bit. Doesn't mean they're all created equally or they're on the same scale of what I believe is an eyesore. But I can think it looks bad. And I do.

sure, all the strip malls filled with rub and tugs and crack pipe stores are likely an eyesore.

but that does not describe a majority of dispensaries...

ironically, Richmond Hill, minus the dispensaries, is a helluva eyesore itself! and this is coming from someone who grew up there!

just strip malls and chains, for far too much of it.
