OT: NFL Thread

...Is that actual punishment, though?

You'd have to pay me very large sums of money to attend an NFL game. Fuck that shit.
I remember I took my son down to his first one in 2012 in Seattle. He had a Dez Bryant jersey on (remember he was 8) and some fat ass woman was yapping, what a bad father, letting his son wear a Bryant jersey when he beat up his mom (he didn't but why let the facts get in the way of an attempted slam). Needless to say, I ignored her shit as she is just a typical Seattle woke asswipe.

Why is that? NFL games are fun. Tailgating is fun too.
One day I want to go to an SEC game, now they look like fun, especially when they sing Dixieland Delight and the fans chant "fuck..insert rival", I went to a UCLA game at the Rose Bowl this year and while it was not a good game, the atmosphere was still good.

I always said that any parent who buys their kid a Leafs jersey should be reported to child protective services for abuse.

She probably figured that having a son who plays for the Cowboys was punishment enough.

Actually, I think there's maybe five things in life that interest me less than going to a live NFL game.

There are some stadiums and arenas in which you can get away with wearing the other team's colors and some where it's suicidal to do so. Philly and Boston are two places which fall into the latter group. You wear a Packers jersey to an Eagles game or a Rangers jersey to a Flyers game and you might just get punched out, either in the venue or on your way back to your vehicle. In Boston, don't wear a Habs jersey to a Bruins game unless you have a death wish.

On the other hand, I've worn Habs jerseys to games in Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary without fear, and a Packers jersey to a Seahawks game without incident. You have to pick the hills upon which you'd like to die
You get cheers wearing a Hab jersey to a Leaf game

half the D is on IR

Anyway, the “all mighty” NFC NORTH got spanked silly in the playoffs

which is why i never understood why Rodgers wanted to leave Packers.....a good overall team, playing in a winnable division....puzzled me why he made the move to Jets

They kicked him out…. Drafted his replacement years ago
