I mostly Agree but shutting down the government isn't necessarily the right play. But the media is 10000% going to says Dems did this. Also this F's DC itself. This isn't a CR. But once more you see how the media covers it. they buy the Rep point of view uncontested.

There is no real good move for the Dems since they were able to heard the freedumb caucus.. The USA is hurt either way.. and even the few that vote for cloture I'm hoping will vote against the bill but there will be one or 2. The problem with negotiating to free the hostage is if the side holding the hostage by just wasting time. and the Reps 100% do. Note Schumer's Talking to the press is spineless. The next CR will include provisions that the Democrats must eat #$@# on live TV and the Republicans will know they'll acquiesce :(
