I mean, there is progression, he’s been generating 2-3 great chances per game lately, where was that before. He’s been hitting a few posts. With just a few adjustments maybe he’s on the verge of a breakout.

I think you're conflating progression with second line center usage.
I agreeNewhook centering the 3rd line I have zero issues with. But we need a plug-n-play 2C.
He’s just been better at center, but he’s been getting confidence. Can’t really complain about his play lately, that’s more than we’ve seen from Dach all year.I think you're conflating progression with second line center usage.
He’s better than Bulis. He is what he is a faster Jan Bulis.
Jan Bulis -.44 ppgHe’s better than Bulis.
PPG is just one benchmark. Bob Gainey was .43 too. You must think Bulis and him were the same.I'm about to chart your wrong ass amigo
Bulis was better defensively than Newhook is now. He used his speed to get break after break only to hit post or crest or glass.PPG is just one benchmark. Bob Gainey was .43 too. You must think Bulis and him were the same.
Believe what you want to.Bulis was better defensively than Newhook is now. He used his speed to get break after break only to hit post or crest or glass.
Newhook is Bulis reincarnated.
I don’t think he is what he is yet. But I’m an optimist. He is what he is a faster Jan Bulis.
