He'll be relegated to the third line playing with slower and average players. I don't think his arc is as high as some here do. I call things like I see them, he's a third line guy. 40 points would be lucky.

Bulis was better defensively than Newhook is now. He used his speed to get break after break only to hit post or crest or glass.

Newhook is Bulis reincarnated.

That’s one take… but like I said, people said the same thing about Lekky’s lack of finish for years….and they were correct, but some players improve in their mid 20s

I like the way Newhook is competing out there recently, so I prefer to be optimistic that he can settle in as a solid top 9 player

I actually agree with you and I wouldn’t be mad at a 3rd line center averaging around 40 points. Maybe a few 50 points seasons here and there.
