Eh, I've read the Global story and there wasn't much more there than in this silly Carney-JCCC nonsense from the other day.

A group of Canadian citizens from India who donated to Modi's campaign in 2014....also donated to Pierre's leadership campaign. If there's more to it, I'm all ears. I'm as curious as anyone why he won't undergo the background check for security clearance, but I don't think this is why.

Yup. I was annoyed at the Carney story for the partisan hackery, this seems like a similar nothingburger.
 
GDP per capita is sort of a shit metric and in this case, largely points to a hilarious own goal and shit immigration policy as we drastically increased our population in the last 4 years or so by mostly adding low skilled folks/low earners to the country. Trudeau already fixed that, but no doubt a fuck up though. It definitely skewed the per capita numbers in a big way.

One of those conversations was in the immediate earshot of this journalist. A Conservative source overheard the other conversation.

I hope it's true. It's about time the left started fighting dirty like the right always does.

The Dems down south could learn a lesson from this. Taking the high road doesn't work and is never appreciated. You just look weak. Politics is a dirty business so if you aren't prepared to get down into the mud and start slinging it, do something else with your life.

The only thing that matters is winning. No one cares how.
