I mean as frustrated as we all are right now, how the fuck could you justify taking a team that makes the playoffs every year and just won the division and advocating tanking instead?! It doesn't make any fucking sense.

Ya, despite the lack of goals his performance at the four nations actually pissed me off because of how good it was. He looked dominant. And outside a game or two I don’t remember him looking that way in the big games for the Leafs.

Because the alternative doesn't make any sense either. How can we keep coming back with this? They've defied the odds of losing these big games so much and so insanely that we can't ignore anymore that they just can't do it. It's like if one of us was awesome in little league and hitting homers every at bat, and then when we play in the big leagues we strike out every single time. We could say it makes no sense, or we could be forced to conclude that we can't make the jump at the next level and repeating it more will lead to the exact same result.
