None particularly make much sense to me, but he's always been weird about disclosing health stuff. Though he usually reveals it at the end of the year so this is a bit unusual!

Seems more the pressure from not meeting expectations is the issue. Snowballing. The doubt it is gonna creep in.

They need a Crosby. A guy who has led his team to one or more Cups already (not just guys who have been on winning teams like Lorentz and OEL) and who can step in and take the bull by the horns when the pressure is on. When Game 7 rolls around, everyone is staring at the core 4 and demanding performance, and they're all shitting in their pants under the weight of the past. If they themselves could look to a Crosby and that guy is saying we're going to do this now, and they can follow his lead, that's probably all they need to finally do it.
