Apparently CLB (14) and VCR (15) are open to trading those picks, which at first glance is annoying for the Habs.
Or… maybe an opportunity?

Not touching him at all , fuck these prospects with serious injuries already in juniorThe only way we're getting McQueen is if we trade up to like 5-7.
I'll happily take Carter Bear. Not touching him at all , fuck these prospects with serious injuries already in junior
Once again thank you Columbus

If we keep both picks and he’s still there, you’d pretty much have to draft him.Not touching him at all , fuck these prospects with serious injuries already in junior

He is gone top 10 but yes if we keep both Habs will gamble on healthIf we keep both picks and he’s still there, you’d pretty much have to draft him.
Habs have a ton of players who won’t be resigned , no issue keeping the first 4 picks if no deal makes senseToo many, need to trade 1/2
Habs had 1 less pick (11) in legendary 2003 draft…. Habs did manage to “uncover a real hidden gem” w their last pick of the draft in round 9 !!I don’t remember the last time we had so many shots at the dartboard. Good odds we uncover a real hidden gem in rounds 2 or 3

Too bad nothing earlier…![]()
How did that work out?2003 we had 4 picks in the first 80
This time we have 7!
How did that work out?
Yup and find diamonds in later rounds like # 11Bottom line is that to be a powerhouse you have to occasionally draft star power outside of the top 10 (Point, Hagel, Marchand, and countless others including our very own Lane Hutson)
