a bit soft ? Maybe we need a winger that's not a bit soft to play with Demidov.....we already have non-physical top 6 players Suzuki, Caulfield, Demidov....adding another (Kyrou) might not be the best way to spend 8M

Also, shouldn't we spend that money on a 2C instead ?

I think Bolduc is management's solution to play wing with Demidov....now we need that 2C to complete the trio

I’m assuming the “non soff” player on that line is expected to be Dach…
 
Matheson has value....and it depends on how much $$ he wants

But you didn't include him in the deal

Unfortunately none of us knows what the fuck the Blues are trying to accomplish here. We know what motivates the Habs to want Kyrou but we dont know why the Blues want to move him other than perhaps his salary. If we knew the "why", then things might be more clear.

"From what I've heard, it seems like Kyrou—the team's highest earner at $8.125 million per season—has hit a ceiling, and guys like Jimmy Snuggerud, Jake Neighbors, and Justin Carbonneau will be able to fill Kyrou's shoes better, and perhaps for less money."

Bingo , we need a few players on the cheap not all getting paid at once

Plus CC`s no trade clause kicks in a few years
