I maintain once again that under America’s gun laws, it should be considered perfectly legal and reasonable to respond with deadly force if a bunch of masked dudes in plainclothes jump out of an unmarked vehicle and try to lay hands on you, or drag away some other passerby in front of you.

Again—100% reasonable in that scenario for every citizen or legal resident around legally carrying a gun to pull it out and mag dump into these assholes until they’re on the ground & no longer even twitching.

exactly the scenario these 'stand your ground' laws claim to envisage. so yeah, that would be a perfectly normal reaction.
