I’ll never understand why Biden admin waited till the last minute to take the border and immigration seriously. FFS, even Trudope figured it out.

And Kamala could have promised toughness on day one. Nope instead she went with the Biden era was flawless and “I wouldn’t change a thing”

I think it goes thru if he does it right after the midterms… he waited too long optically… also there are executive orders and such

All of that could have been overcome imo. Her tail off coincided with her unwillingness to put forward a convincing economic message. "Run it back....but we'll build some houses" didn't get it done. Her early messaging aimed at the wealthy was landing well and sticky with voters. Yet another line of attack that the consultants didn't like that got halted.

I think that Kamala is probably not much different than most "good" politicians. Deeply self interested, has something resembling a moral compass, but also a price for not following it. Beholden to the party system that brought her up with multiple backs expecting to be scratched when they want it, just like she got to rise as high as she got to.

But, when it came time to decide between the people and the ruling class, for reasons her own, chose the ruling class and that's probably the single biggest reason she lost. Trump wins because he's fooled enough morons into thinking that he's for them and against the ruling class, when all he's ever been trying to do is overthrow the ruling class and install himself.
