I also wouldn't rule out MAGA just being explicitly pro-child sexual abuse by the end though.

Fully agree that the two most plausible outcomes are:
1) Trump and his enablers gaslight this away, it’s mostly forgotten except in some vague way in which it’s a scandal for Democrats only. Trump occasionally whines about Epstein at rallies and the lasting narrative is how badly Democrats bungled the issue.
2) MAGA decides that sexual abuse of minors is fine, especially if it’s Trump, and anyway prosecuting sex offenders is Woke.
And much less plausible option 3) this is a self-deception bridge too far for MAGA and the coalition fractures.
